ALMOST SHOW TIME!

Alex came home from rehersal tonight with the flyer for his performance. He asked me to hang them up in my office and around campus. I told him that I would post it on the blog too. He is very excited about this and has put a lot of time into practice and learning dances and songs. He said is costume is "nicker-bottom" pants and a pretty cool hat. He really gets into performing!

ANOTHER SUNNY DAY!

The girls were so patient with me today as I dragged them around town to take pictures for my sister, I decided to take them to the park. It is like 85 degrees today and I am not going to say that I don't enjoy it but.....I am ready for fall and crisp cool 65 degree weather.

LOGANS HEROES

From the outside it looks a little scary but Logans Heroes is the very best sandwich shop around. The man in the red is the owner and very funny! He remembers every customer that goes in there. My brother-in-law used to frequent this place when he lived here and the owner still remembers him even though they moved like 4 years ago. Jean, I told him I was taking this picture for Matt and then he said,"Tell them I am coming to stay with them in Florida this Christmas!"

SCENERY FOR JEAN & MATT

My sister and her family live in Florida but I know that they totally miss Cache Valley and the beautiful scenery so I took some pictures for them of the leaves in the canyon. It is absolutley beautiful in the fall! They say when all the trees turn red, it looks like the canyon is on fire. I am hoping that they will see these and become homesick and want to move back here:-)

PICTURES FOR JEAN

The first pictures in the snow are just for reference. In December when my sister was out here from Florida we took the kids sledding over at my kids school. They are adding on to the school and there is no longer a hill to sled on:-( We have gone sledding there every year since we moved here three years ago. Maybe we will give Old Main a try this year?!

He is in the boys band, and a towns person for the play The Music Man. He has been working really hard at rehearsals and even at home to learn all the songs. I will be getting pictures soon as they are getting ready for dress reherseals so stay tuned!!! I am so very proud of him:-). They are putting the play on in October and as a proud Mama, I'm inviting you all to come watch my talented young son!

More Pics at the Park

Alex and Cavan think they a little to old to enjoy the park so they like to just sit and visit. Ashley "Hollywood" and her twin boys Jeremy and Gentry (aren't they cute!)joined us for the afternoon. And of course there is Bizzy the wild woman coming down the slide with a piece of pizza. It is nice to be able to be outside and enjoy such a fun park with fun friends!!

WILLOW PARK

After school today we decided to take advantage of the 85 degree weather so we took the kids to Willow Park. We had a lot of fun. From top to bottom: Jeremy, Kearen, Bizzy, Gentry and Andrea.

HIGHER, HIGHER LIKE A FLYER

One more picture of our fun afternoon at willow park. Bizzy is FINALLY learning how to "pump" when she is on the swings......YEAH! I can now take the kids to the park and not hear, "MOM COME PUSH ME!"

ALEX "CARLOS" SANTANA

SHOW ME THE MONEY!

Andrea's first post.......I got a really big dollar from my teacher for doing all my homework everyday! I got to choose which prize I wanted and I wanted the big dollar. I want to go buy something at the dollar store but my mom said I have to wait.

LET'S GET READY TO TUMBLE!!

The girls took tumbling this summer and really loved it. They are showing me the "ready position". That lets coach Sandy know that they are ready to "roll":-)

FUNDRAISER FOR SCOUTS

I found this picture and just wanted to share my and Alex's cake making skills. This was made for a scout fundraiser like 2 years ago. We sold it at the auction for 60$ ( I think) Pretty cool cake huh!

ALEX'S SUMMER JOB

Alex's first post.......
This summer I mowed lawns. I did the lawns of three people in my aunts neighborhood. I saved up enough money to buy myself a Wii!

THE BACK OF THE NEW GAME DAY SHIRT

This is what the back of the new game day shirt says. It's kinda fun.

LOOK WHAT I DID!

This is Bizzy's first post.......
This is my sunflower that I started to grow from a sunflower seed at school. It was just like the ones my big brother likes to eat when he plays baseball. Isn't it pretty! Look how tall it got. The grasshoppers really liked to eat the leaves and hang out on it. I am going to save the seeds and plant another one next year! Andrea found a tiny flower that looked like my BIG one. She is kind of silly!

GOOD FRIENDS, FUN TIMES!

Today the girls went to play with their friend Kearan. They had a lot of fun and we are making sure to enjoy the nice weather before we are shut-ins due to the snow!!

I am so very excited. I have solved the internet/computer issues that have been buggimg me for the last month. I should have no problem keeping the blog updated now. Bizzy has a really exciting thing that she needs to share with everyone so as soon as I get the picture put into the computer, she can post her first blog!! STAY TUNED!!!

For my kids

So I recently showed my kids the blog and they LOVED it! We have looked at all the posts several times and had some good laughs. I decided ...
